Welcome to WP Ranch, LLC!

In business since 2000, WP Ranch, LLC, is a family owned and operated working farm in Benton, Marshall County, Kentucky, USA. Our Composted Soil Amendment is processed at the farm from our poultry production manure and spent litter bedding. The Ranch also produces nearly 15,000 bales of quality bermudagrass hay each year.

Doug Hall, Owner and Operations Manager, is a 2007 graduate of Murray State University with a degree in Agriculture Science and has been a grower for Pilgrim's Pride Corporation since 2000. Doug began commercially growing bermudagrass hay in 2007 with 30 acres of hay fields, expanding to 50 acres in 2009. In late 2009, he and Dianna began composting, completing the process and introducing the WP Ranch Composted Soil Amendment in early 2011. Doug is the recipient of the Marshall County 2010 Master Conservationist award.

Dianna, a 2010 graduate of Murray State University with a Master’s Degree in Agriculture Science, is the Manager and Office Administrator of WP Ranch.  Dianna has been an avid gardener as well as an environmental, wildlife, and farming advocate for nearly 35 years.
